Recommendations sought by the Scottish Government from a working group on food access and affordability, supported by CFHS, were sent to Ministers shortly before the recent election campaign. The report produced by the group involved representatives from community and voluntary organisations in Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Fife and Dumfries and Galloway.

Report on research to establish the impact of the CFHS 2008 small grants scheme
(November 2010)
In Spring 2010 CFHS commissioned external research to explore the impact of small grants of 2008. In 2008, 58 organisations received funding between £150 and £3000. The research explored the impact of the grants for individuals, communities and the organisations themselves. Issues around sustainability and key learning were also captured.

Impact of the economic downturn for CFHS conference delegates and the communities they work with

The CFHS annual networking conference, in October 2009, was an opportunity to engage with those working in food and health across Scotland. In particular, CFHS explored the impact of the current economic climate upon food and health activities in vulnerable communities across Scotland. This report shares the findings of this work.
