Communities Channel Scotland – one year on
Communities Channel Scotland, a website providing support to local groups and organisations to grow and connect with each other, has been up and running for a year since its launch in June 2014. In its first year, the Communities Channel has: profiled 71 community groups (and counting) from all around Scotland as ‘Spotlights’ and in depth case studies; highlighted and linked to 111 resources useful to community groups; and produced 77 news stories and 200 tweets, providing groups with useful updates on funding, events, support and new resources.
Please get in touch if you are part of a community organisation and would like the Communities Channel to profile your achievements or to highlight any news. Visit the site and read the full one-year update at www.communityscot.org.uk.
