Training and learning
Training is not only about improving your skills but also about finding out about different approaches to what you do.
There are many training courses available and relevant to community food initiatives, from food handling to financial management. CFHS also runs occasional training courses – subscribe to our e-newsletter to find out what’s on.
Some training courses are free or subsidised for community/voluntary groups. Skills Development Scotland also offers some funding towards learning through its Individual Learning Accounts scheme.
Training is also a great way to meet people who are tackling the same issues.
