Healthier Scotland cooking bus
Focus on Food, who run the Healthier Scotland Cooking Bus on behalf of the Scottish Government, are still keen to hear from community groups who feel they could take advantage of this incredible resource.
‘Well worth the effort’ has been the common response from communities who have been successful in applying for a visit from the bus, or more accurately the colourful articulated lorry which unfolds into a well equipped mobile training kitchen.
The experience of community groups has been covered in Fare Choice and will feature again in the December issue.
In the meantime, if you would like to find out more about what would be required check the Focus on Food website or contact the Cooking Bus Programmes Coordinator.
