Investing in Communities Fund
An Investing in Communities Fund has recently been launched by the Scottish Government. The new streamlined fund includes the former Fare Food Transformation Fund and is intended to encourage “community-led development, design and delivery of sustainable local solutions addressing local issues, circumstances and aspirations across a broad range of community led activity”. The funding is intended to provide stability and recognise the need for longer term planning. More information on the grants, up to £250,000 over three years, and the application form are available on the Scottish Government website.
