Community cooking skills – evidence and networking event
Thursday 15 March, 10:30 am – 3.15 pm, The Studio, Glasgow
Our event will give participants the chance to hear about the evidence of the impact of cooking skills courses, with inputs from:
– Professor Martin Caraher, City, University of London. What evidence do we have of the impact of community cooking skills courses?
– The results of a CFHS evaluation of 29 community cooking skills courses.
– Dr Ada Garcia, University of Glasgow. Results from the evaluation of the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde eat better, feel better community cooking skills courses
There will also be networking and time to learn and exchange ideas with your colleagues.
The event is for practitioners (community chefs, facilitators, trainers, etc) managers and policy makers.
