Community retailing roundtable
In September, CFHS held a roundtable meeting to discuss the future of community retailing, especially community-run food co-ops, fruit stalls and barras. Representatives from five community food initiatives that support food co-ops took part. Everyone agreed that community retailing is important, has a future, but requires support to develop its impact. A note of the discussion is available here. [PDF, 89kb]
A follow-up meeting was held in late January. A note of this meeting will be available soon.
