The nature and extent of food poverty/insecurity in Scotland
CFHS has commissioned this research to explore the wider context of food poverty/insecurity in Scotland and to develop an understanding of the current level and nature of this to inform future policy and practice. The study will also look at the experience of particular vulnerable groups – older people, people living in rural and remote rural areas and those facing destitution. It will also consider the implications of any finding for the future work of community food initiatives.
The work will start in September and be completed by May 2015.
