Scottish Grocers Federation’s ‘healthyliving’ programme training sessions
CFHS are running two Scottish Grocers Federation’s ‘healthyliving’ programme training sessions, on 30 September in Stirling, and 8 October in Rigside, South Lanarkshire. The training covers a range of topics including promoting fresh produce, presentation of fruit and vegetables, how to reduce waste, and seasonality, and is ideal for community food groups that are (or will be) running fruit and vegetable co-ops, stalls, barras, outlets or community shops. Groups that attend will be able to apply for one of the two models of display stands available through the programme.
CHFS are also running a training the trainers session on 6 October, in Glasgow, for community food organisations involved in managing or supporting community food co-ops, outlets, stalls and shops. The session will enable participants to deliver the programme’s training session within their own organisations and others that they work with.
Please contact Anne at CFHS for more information or details about either of the above, anne.gibson@consumerfocus.org.uk, 0141 226 5261.
